The MS4525 Airspeed sensor is a differential pressure sensor designed to measure airspeed by detecting the difference between static pressure (ambient atmospheric pressure) and dynamic pressure (pressure generated by airflow).
It features two dedicated inputs:
Static port: Connects to a static pressure source (e.g., a static port on an aircraft or a pitot-static system).
Dynamic port: Connects to a dynamic pressure source (e.g., a pitot tube).
